Our client, based in Reigate, Surrey, is currently recruiting an Assistant Marketing Campaign Specialist to join their marketing team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of customer email marketing campaigns aimed to drive and upsell business products. This includes delivering co-ordinated marketing activity, and ensuring the business maximises all opportunities at key customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support with the delivery of the cross-sell/ up-sell strategy through the implementation of agreed email campaigns

- Maintain, build, test and deploy emails for all relevant channels using Salesforce

- Ensure all communications provide information in a clear way; address customer needs; are compliant and maximise marketing opportunities where appropriate

- Brief email and outbound data requirements to various marketing teams to identifying the best prospects to target

- Working with the in house creative team, develop the creative needed for campaign activities.

- Ensure all email marketing items are compliant with FCA regulation

- Work with the Digital team to create and maintain an email library. Ensure effective and timely implementation of email campaigns and assist with the development and execute tests to increase engagement

- When required work with the preferred mailing house supplier to deliver the agreed direct mail tests, on time and within budget

- Support with the maintenance of the weekly / monthly reporting of the campaigns

- Collate, monitor and report the campaign results for cross and up-sell activities to ensure that campaigns are optimised

Key skills and experience:

- Previous direct email marketing experience is essential

- Experience of using Salesforce would be highly advantageous

- Experience working in a business to consumer (B2C) environment

- Good Excel skills and the ability to analyse / create reports

- A strong interest in customer marketing, and deriving value to an existing and new customer base.

- Passionate about the customer, consistently striving to deliver excellent customer experience through all campaigns

- Fantastic organisational and planning skills are necessary with an attention to detail.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
