Havas Lynx is an award winning communications agency with offices in Manchester, London and New York. Our work focuses on healthcare matters and we ensure that our messages are informed, helpful, innovative and engaging through the development and application of robust insights. Across our UK offices we have a team of around 300 people who produce global marketing campaigns which truly enhance people's lives. We're pleased to be seeking an additional experienced Planner to join us, with potential for flexible working.
As an agency, we rely on our Planners to be involved in the entirety of a project; from brand planning, through to campaign execution, evaluation and refinement. This is therefore a hands-on role and you will have an integral part to play. Working alongside Account Handlers, Medical Writers & Advisors, and Creatives, you'll be heavily involved from the outset by designing, contributing to and delivering research projects, as well as working alongside client market research functions where required. As well as this you will be undertaking competitor and audience analysis, creative brief generation, campaign planning, measuring effectiveness and ensuring increasing levels of campaign success.
Given our positioning and client base, this activity will be within the healthcare market - although previous experience in this sector isn't essential, it would be beneficial. You may be from a market research background looking to switch your focus, and take your insights understanding further. Or perhaps an experienced account handler who loves the strategy element of their role.
Ultimately reporting to our Chief Strategic Officer, our 35+ strong Insight and Planning department is an integral, influential and highly visible function within Havas Lynx, which also harnesses the investment and power of the broader Havas network.
As part of this department, you'd be working alongside a diverse array of planners, researchers and analysts from all walks of life - from healthcare experts and digital thinkers, market research wizards and behaviour change evangelists.
We'd like to hear from people who possess and can demonstrate:
A strong, strategic, digital marketing background gained from either a creative agency or the pharmaceutical industry.
The ability to confidently provide and cater market research to develop robust insights, achieving a thorough understanding of the brand and target audience
The confidence and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal teams and clients
An eagerness to thoroughly understand the client's long-term brand objectives and to exceed their expectations, whilst promoting new business opportunities
